My Account & My Orders

   

What is My Account?

Through your account you can easily view and update your account and orders any time. "My Account" allows you complete control over your transactions at takas.lk. You can: 

- Manage/edit all your personal data like address, phone numbers and email ids

- Change your password

- Track the status of your orders

 

How do I know my order has been confirmed?

Once your payment has been successfully made, your order is processed internally (and immediately). takas.lk will send a confirmation mail for your order, to the email address associated with your takas.lk order/account. In this mail you will be provided with a unique Order ID (eg.#100000010) for your reference with our Customer Service team and a listing of the item/s you have ordered .


Is it possible to order a product that is 'Out of Stock'?

On very rare occasions a product you order may be out of stock. We will fully reimburse the cost of the product or will deliver the item once we acquire it (it is up to you to decide), and will send you a takas.lk gift to say we are sorry.

How do I pay for a takas.lk purchase?

Takas.lk offers you multiple payment methods. Whatever your online mode of payment, you can rest assured that takas.lk's trusted payment gateway partners use secure encryption technology to keep your transaction details confidential at all times.

You can pay using all major credit cards (Visa/Mastercard) and debit cards, or you can pay using Cash on Delivery (CoD). We make the CoD facility available on orders of up to Rs. 5500.00. Just present the cash upon delivery, it's that easy.

 

What is Cash on Delivery?

If you are not comfortable making an online payment on takas.lk, you can opt for the Cash on Delivery (C-o-D) payment method instead. With CoD you can pay in cash at the time of actual delivery of the product at your doorstep, without requiring you to make any advance payment online for orders under Rs. 5500.00. Takas.lk has the right to process orders based on background checks (phone call, etc). Once we are satisfied with the authencity of the order we will make the delivery.

 

How do I pay using a credit card?

We accept all VISA, MasterCard. We even accept international cards, but it takes a little bit of time to verify.

To pay using your credit card at checkout, you will need your card number, expiry date, three-digit CVV number (found on the backside of your card). After entering these details, you will be redirected to the bank's page for processing.

Order Status

   

How can I check my order status?

You can review the status and other information of all your orders, whether pending or fulfilled, that you have placed with takas.lk. To check the status of your pending orders, click on the “My Account” link in the top right of any page on our store. This will take you to your My Account page, where you can click on the “My Orders” link to view the status of all orders.

If you are totally lost you can always contact us during working hours or e-mail us anytime.

Shipping

   

How safe is shipping?

Very safe, we ship with a reputed shipping company. All Electronics sold on takas.lk are sourced from Sri Lankan suppliers authorized by the Manufacturer. They come with minimum 1 year Manufacturer's warranty & are serviceable at the corresponding brand's Authorized Service Center(s) in Sri Lanka, unless specified otherwise.

For Mobile Accessories, the supplied accessories inside the box have 6 months manufacturer warranty.

 

Can I send a product to someone other than myself?

Of course you can. Simply put the address of the person you want the gift sent to. However, Cash on Delivery orders require identication in the form of  the National Identification Card number of whoever places the order.

 

Is delivery free?

Delivery is free in Colombo and suburbs. We charge a flat fee of Rs. 300.00 for goods to other parts of the island.


Where do we deliver?

Anywhere is the country.
